CONVERSE x Undefeated

"Inspired by the classic military bomber jacket, What seems like a simply nice black nylon shoe is loaded with top gun details including a removable Velcro Converse chevron, signature ‘War is Big Business’ embroidered patch and a manila inventory card."

Wow, Undefeated is on a roll, the Pumas were an OK shoe, but i liked the thought of the two companies working together. I kinda really like these converse though...wut do you think?

Bird Island by Graft Architects

"international firm graft architects have sent in images of some of their latest projects. they designed their bird island project as part of the bird island green home competition held by the YTL group. located in sentul park, kuala lumpur, malaysia 'bird island' is an urban renewal development. for the project graft architects have designed a sustainable villa made with a silicone coveredglass fabric. the skin twists and turns along the facade changing its transparency and guiding the view of the residents out to the landscape and views of the area. the tent structure reflects sunlight and prevents direct sunlight to heat the main structure. grey water fro sinks and showers will be able to be reused as part of the water drainage system they have incorporated.'

Puma x Undefeated 24k Collection

"There were previews scanned off magazines and even a sneak peek from Puma a short while back but finally we have the full collection for your viewing pleasure. Kazuhiko Kawahara

"kazuhiko kawahara is a japanese architect and photographer who creates mesmerizing images oflandscapes and infrastructure. kawahara uses digital manipulation to morph and transform buildings into strange sights that explore the limits of form. the works suggest that kawahara uses the technique as a way to prototype buildings or even imagine new ones. he usually shoots buildings which are verybanal and boring to people in an attempt to reveal the hidden structures and systems."

Nike x Coraline Dunks

"The upcoming full-length animated film, Coraline, were made possible by hundreds of talented people and the imagination of Neil Gaiman. Some of those creative minds also had a hand in creating the Coraline Dunk above. Taking the handcrafted style of the film as inspiration, this special edition features a unique hand sewn black visible seam on the upper. The director Henry Selick (also the director of The Nightmare before Christmas), designed the oversize buttons found on only 100 pairs, and fifty boxes contain actual props from the movie. This pair comes with a cat and mouse lace locks and matching tails and a pair of cotton candy from the movie. Also a nice detail is the glow in the dark outsole completing the overall nice package. For those of you who want a pair of these will have to go check out the movie, opening February 6th and make sure to stay after the credits for a clue. Big thanks goes out to Rob Heppler and the WK12 crew!"

Gladiator Shades

"spanish designer rodrigo canedo of canedo studio has sent in images of his latest work 'gladi8r shades'. the helmet-like frame's weight is distributed through the whole surface of the head, this not only ensures that the shades will remain in its place during use but also reduces friction in the usual supporting areas, such as nose-bridge and ears. the frame comes in 3 different sizes and it is adjustable through a range of rubber attachments that brace the ribs of the frame".
